Meet the Staff

Senior Officer

Welcome to the Triton Family!

I believe I will be able to relate to many parents and families through your student’s needs at UC San Diego. I was born and raised in Montréal, Canada and English is my second language. My native language, French, is very much alive. I attended Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts and graduated with a B.S. in Psychology. I moved to San Diego, CA to pursue a M.A. degree in College Counseling and Student Services from the University of San Diego. In the last 14 years, I worked within student life serving transfer, commuter, resident, and first-generation students through large campus wide programs like new student orientation, homecoming and family weekend, and commencement ceremony. My career has taken me to understanding and providing services to parents and families of college students. I served as Assistant Director for Parent Relations at the University of San Diego where, among other things, I created the Parent Ambassador Program with 150 members including international parents. This past year, I received my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from UC San Diego and Cal State University San Marcos with a focus in the experiences of first-generation doctoral students of color.

I am excited to provide you opportunities to connect with the campus and enhance your experience as a Triton parent and family member. Parent and Family Programs is a central office designed to help you navigate the UC San Diego during your student’s time on campus and to serve as an ally to your student’s development and transition period.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to say “hello”, to learn how to get involved through the Triton Parent and Family Ambassador Program, or to get answers to your questions.

I look forward to meeting you! Go Tritons!
