Meet the Staff

Senior Officer

I believe I will be able to relate to many parents and families through your student’s needs at UC San Diego. Born and raised in Canada with French as my native language, I am excited to be here. For over a decade, I worked within student life serving transfer, commuter, resident, and first-generation students through large campus wide programs like new student orientation, homecoming and family weekend, and commencement ceremony. Since 2011, my career focuses on understanding and providing services to parents and families of college students.

I am excited to provide you opportunities to connect with the campus and enhance your experience as a Triton parent and family member. Parent and Family Programs is a central office designed to help you navigate UC San Diego during your student’s time on campus and to serve as an ally to your student’s development and transition period.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to say hello, to learn how to get involved through the Triton Parent and Family Ambassador Program, and other ways, or to get answers to your questions.

I look forward to meeting you! Go Tritons!

Senior Officer

Program Coordinator

I am a born and raised Southern Californian, growing up in Long Beach and moving to San Diego 12 years ago to attend San Diego State University. I am a two-time alumnus of San Diego State University, earning a B.A. in Journalism and Media Studies and a M.A. Education in Student Affairs with a Specialization in Leadership in Higher Education. My journey to Student Affairs began as an undergraduate with opportunities to participate in residence life, new student and parent programs, and associated student government. Over the past decade I have had the privilege to work in many aspects of university and student life, most recently as the Student Affairs Coordinator at the Art Institute of California San Diego. As a professional, I have had the opportunities to work with student programming and wellness, disability services, student conduct, new student orientation, student clubs and organizations, student veteran organization and military resource center, and commencement.

At the Parent and Family Programs Office, we focused on creating avenues for parents and families to connect and engage with the UC San Diego campus community. As the Program Coordinator I am excited to be a go to contact for parents to answer any questions or assist in any way possible, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
