For Parents and Families

Black, Latinx and Native American Family Orientation

Thank you for your interest in attending the program. Due to an overwhelming interest, our program has reached capacity and we are no longer taking additional registrations.

Join us for the annual Black, Latinx, and Native American Family Orientation from Friday, September 9 through Sunday, September 11.

The Black, Latinx and Native American Family Orientation is a voluntary program designed to share information about the UC San Diego student experience from a culturally informed lens. Participants will be able to engage with other incoming families, learn about campus resources and get familiar with the campus. All students and their families are welcome to attend, subject to space availability.

The orientation provides early move-in to those students with housing contracts and preliminary access to various campus departments and staff. This event is open to incoming Fall 2022 students, including transfer and commuter students.

QUESTIONS: Please email blnaorientation@ucsd.edu

Please note: If you have a housing contract, you'll have an opportunity for a special move-in time to attend this orientation. You'll need to register to receive the proper move-in instructions.

We hope to see you in September!
