In light of COVID-19, all events will be reimagined and offered in a virtual format only. We will continue to provide quality resource-filled events that inform you and support your student’s UC San Diego experience.

Registration is Open

Before registering for Homecoming @Home, please read through this important information.

  • Registration is hosted by our partners, Alumni, at

  • Under “Select the Events You Plan to Attend,” select Parent and Family Programs to access all the sessions we planned just for parents and families of students. You may also select other events that appeal to you under the same heading.

  • One family member will serve as the primary registrant and will enter the number of other family members joining the events.

  • The email used to register is the email that will be used to send updates and information on how to log on to virtual sessions and events.

  • You must include your student's PID number (i.e., Axxxxxxx). It is made optional on the registration site because the event is open to everyone including parents and families of students.

  • The online system only accepts Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards.

  • Parent & Family Programs is unable to take any payment information over the phone.

  • All registrations must be processed through the online system.

First guests to register will receive a free Homecoming Spirit Pack which includes a commemorative Homecoming T-shirt and spirited Triton gear, while supplies last. *Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate international delivery for the Spirit Pack.

UC San Diego Homecoming @Home celebrates our families and their students with family-friendly events. Carefully read through the schedule of events to make your selection for you and the family. Students tend to be very busy with other demands of campus life. Make sure to check with your student about potential conflicts such as midterms.

Note: The schedule is subject to some changes.


Global Triton 5K, raises scholarship money for students, is scheduled for Sunday October 25. It is $20 per person and $12 per student, and the domestic shipping cost for a Race Kit is $12 and $30 for international shipping. You may select and pay for fees for this event during registration. Otherwise, there are no additional fees for Homecoming @Home.


Due to the nature of Homecoming @Home moving to a virtual platform at no cost to parents and families, Fee Waivers are not applicable. For questions, please email


UC San Diego has an academic culture where students may have an exam during Homecoming which may impede your interest to attend. Please consult with your student about their academic obligations or any other obligations during this time and agree on whether or not to participate in the event.
