The Triton Transitions Calendar helps families stay informed about campus activities, traditions and several campus resources. The calendar also includes dates for finals week and campus closure, and department contacts such as the student health center, campus police, financial aid and scholarship, and more. Families with the calendar will also read about topical tips to support and to get ahead of their student's experience. To view a list of important academic dates, visit the Academic Calendar.

Tips of the Month

  • Talk to your student. Whether your student is in their first-year, last year, or in the middle, summer is a good time to talk about their plans for the coming academic year. For example, what are their goals and who can help achieve them once on campus?

  • Check emails. Students receive important emails about the coming academic year, many of which require a follow up with the sending department.

  • Take classes in the summer. If your student is taking a summer class, there are important dates to follow and resources to learn.

  • Attend Parent & Family Orientation. Register for Parent & Family Orientation hosted by your student's college.
