New Director of Parent & Family Programs

Parent & Family Programs is proud to announce Laci Weeden as our new Director! Laci grew up outside Washington, D.C. and earned her B.A. in psychology from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. Laci pursued a masters degree in college student personnel at Indiana State University and began her work in student affairs at the University of Akron and UNC Charlotte. She then joined North Carolina State University in 2000 and worked as an Assistant Director with University Housing and the Assistant Director of the NC State’s Women’s Center. For the last 3 years, Laci served as the Assistant Director of NC State’s Parents & Families Services. Laci is excited to connect with UC San Diego parents and make sure they feel like they are part of the Triton Family!

Laci will be collaborating with the Colleges, Development, Government & Community Affairs, UCSD Alumni and other campus partners to strengthen parent and family engagement and services. Her office is located in the Vice Chancellor-Student Affairs Office. Laci can be reached at lweeden@ucsd.edu.
