Health and Safety

Decide if your student will be covered by the UC SHIP health insurance or stay on the family insurance.

Register for Triton Alert to receive emergency notifications from Campus Police.
Financial and Billing

Reapply for financial aid through FAFSA or CA DREAM Act.

Save the dates for tuition and fees payment.

Have your student sign up for direct deposit for any potential refunds from the university.

Talk to your student about becoming an authorized payer for billing and payment.

Decide if you want to sign up for the monthly tuition payment plan called TRIP.
Communication and Involvement

Opt-in to the Parent Portal to receive communication from Housing Dining Hospitality.

Have your student list your email on TritonLink to receive university communications.

Subscribe to receive the Triton Family Connection e-Newsletter.

Be a Triton Parent and Family Ambassador and/or join the Parent Leadership Council.

Register for parent and family events; International Parent & Family Orientation, College Parent & Family Orientation, Homecoming Weekend, and Siblings Day.
