Tickets to Triton Athletics Events

Parents, Friends and Family Members

Your Family Weekend registration includes a free ticket to one of our athletics games, while supplies last. Like all Family Weekend events, our Triton Athletics events are first-come, first served.

If you would like to attend an athletics event, tickets to the game of your choice will be provided to parents, friends and family members at check-in.

UC San Diego Students

Students who would like to attend an athletics event must reserve their ticket through a different process at no additional cost:

  • Student Tickets to the Men’s Basketball Game:
Starting on Monday, Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. students can claim their tickets to the Men’s Basketball game (while supplies last) online by signing into the Triton Athletics ticketing site using their university credentials. Check out step-by-step instructions from Athletics.

  • Student Tickets to the Men’s Soccer Match:
Students do not need to reserve a ticket in advance; their student ID serves as their ticket. Student IDs will be scanned at the entrance to the field.
Please note: student tickets are limited for both athletics events. The earlier your student can reserve their ticket or arrive at the field, the better!

Venue Security

Security and Approved Items

We're expecting record numbers for this year's Family Weekend, and we're hosting events at some of the largest venues UC San Diego has to offer. Some of these venues, like LionTree Arena and RIMAC Field have their own security measures in place. Be sure to review important security policies regarding approved items, security and bag checks before you arrive.

LionTree Arena
All persons and items entering LionTree Arena are subject to search.

LionTree Arena does not allow backpacks or bags larger than 16” by 8” by 16”. We encourage you to avoid bringing a bag into the arena for a more efficient and contactless ingress experience

Please visit and review the LionTree Arena's venue policy for more details on allowed and prohibited items.

RIMAC Field
Check out visitor guidelines for venues managed by UC San Diego Recreation, inlcuding RIMAC Field.

Any pet on campus must be on a leash at all times.

Pets (excluding service animals) are not allowed in university buildings, classrooms, LionTree Arena, RIMAC Field or any dining spaces.
